As in Soviet times, and now, any girl dreams of acting in a movie. And especially in the role of a beautiful porcelain doll. How fascinating it is when you are dressed in a beautiful dress, dyed in an adult way, and done your hair. And at the same time, all the attention of young mischievous people is riveted on you. Some sigh with unrequited love like Pierrot, others swear their loyalty like Artemon, and still others indulge in cute pranks like Pinocchio. And a beautiful girl with blue hair cutely reproaches them and invites them to a tea party. Not a role, but a dream!

And, it would seem, after such a debut on the TV screen, as they say, all roads are open. But for some reason, viewers no longer saw a cute girl with big blue eyes on the screens. Where is she? How was the further life of Tatyana Protsenko, who played Malvina so successfully?

The role of dreams

Gentle, sweet, a little capricious and incredibly kind - this is how we imagined Malvina. And little Tanechka managed to match her one hundred percent. Although at the time of filming, the young actress was only 6 years old.

Tanya got to the cinema stage, we can say that it was completely unexpected. No one imagined that the director's assistant would be a neighbor on the Minsk-Moscow train. She then invited the parents to try the child in the filming of a musical fairy tale. Just the girl's huge blue eyes and a pretty face, perfectly matched the intended image. And suddenly, a small role in the film turned into a large-scale project.

In addition to fame throughout the country, the girl also received a pleasant bonus - 10,000 rubles. Although the actress herself denies this information and clarifies that the copyright for the film is the property of the state, and her services were much cheaper. Nevertheless, the dream of a little girl came true - out of the amount received, 650 rubles were spent on buying a piano.

The life test with "copper pipes" was hard for the young actress. The girls were jealous, and the boys teased her with a bore, completely identifying her with the screen image. However, not all school friends were so angry. There were also those who, on the contrary, defended the new star of the school.

● The competition for the performance of children's roles in the future hit was unheard of. 100 candidates applied for one role at once. And even more for the only girl role. And a miracle happened - Tanyusha conquered the commission with an episode, which later did not even enter the fairy tale. She had to go to the window, closing her eyes, whispering at the same time: “I am asleep, I can’t do anything. Come back tomorrow . She did it perfectly well. ● For the voice acting of Malvina, the voice of the smallest actress was left. All other roles - Pinocchio, Pierrot, Harlequin and Artemona spoke with the voices of adult women. But the timbre of the little doll's voice was so sweet and charming that the directors decided to leave it. The only episode where Tanya was replaced was a moment with a laugh. The girl couldn’t manage to laugh the way she needed to, so someone else had to do it for her. ● There was also a comically tragic moment of filming. Right at the moment of working on the film, the little actress's front teeth began to fall out. How can you imagine Malvina without teeth? I urgently had to go to the dentists - after all, the porcelain doll should have a Hollywood smile! ● According to the first scenario, there was a moment when Malvina fainted. But little Tanyusha was so afraid to fall, she was afraid that no one would pick her up from behind, that from fear she could only babble “oh, I'm afraid, I'm afraid!”. As a result, director Leonid Nechaev decided to limit himself to just this phrase. Therefore, the swooning Malvina did not work in the film.

● At the end of filming, something strange began to happen with the girl. She seemed to be crying for no reason. In fact, everything was femininely simple - the girl fell in love with Pierrot. Although Artemon showed signs of attention to her. By the way, this feeling later did not develop into something more. Roman Stolkartz chose another wife and is now raising four children. He never became an actor, but chose the profession of a pediatrician and immigrated to Israel. Nevertheless, the childhood friendship between Malvina and Pierrot continues to this day.

● The last scene was supposed to take place in the auditorium. Tanya's mother was asked to bring her usual daily dress. What caused the shock. The fact is that the girl came to the shooting in a simple plaid dress. Mom kept lamenting: "At home there are such beautiful outfits, bows." But the director replied that now an ordinary child is needed for filming. As a result, we see an ordinary girl in a plaid dress.

Life after a moment of glory

Why can't we see the matured Malvina on the screens now? Didn't she receive suggestions from the directors? Inna Vetikina, the scriptwriter of The Adventures of Buratino, liked the image and performance of Tanya so much that she wrote the next script for Little Red Riding Hood especially for Tanya. The conversation about her participation was settled long ago. However, a misfortune happened: just before filming, Tanya received a head injury while riding a bicycle. The concussion was severe enough and the child spent several weeks in the hospital. As a result, the doctor strictly forbade any stress. Therefore, the role of Little Red Riding Hood went to Yana Poplavsky. After a while, Tanya received another offer. Director Rolan Bykov conceived the filming of the movie "Scarecrow". But when the girl found out the essence of the role (the negative image of the girl-ringleader), she burst into tears right into the phone. The teenager's feelings were understandable, and the director did not insist. After graduation, Tatyana entered the film studies department at VGIK. And it was there that I realized that I was not ready to devote my life to filming. This decision was final and irrevocable. In the end, she chose a profession that is simpler and more understandable. She took up computer layout. And after marriage, she completely plunged into family chores - she and her husband are raising two children - a daughter and a son. However, the years spent outside the walls of the cinema university were not in vain. In the former Malvina, the gift of writing poetry woke up, she participates in public projects and sometimes conducts master classes on the history of cinematography for children. By the way, one of the lessons is called “Secrets of the Golden Key”.

Tatiana Protsenko considers her participation in the movie fairy tale a real gift of fate. Malvina's dress and shoes are still kept in her closet. And her daughter loves to try them on, imagining herself in the role of a porcelain doll. Tatyana's favorite color is still azure - the color of the fairy girl's hair. Remembering the shooting, the matured Malvina periodically goes through numerous letters that she received from all over the Soviet Union. The girl's mother carefully collected correspondence and kept the touching drawings of young fans.

Our beloved Malvina no longer shone on the screen in new roles. However, the generation of the 80s and 90s remembers a cute girl with bright blue hair and big, clear eyes.

For the past three years, Tatiana has been struggling with a serious illness, unfortunately, unsuccessfully. Recently Malvina left us for good.
