Video: Moments that became the highlight of popular Soviet films, although they were not originally in the script

It is known that Charlie Chaplin most often on the set did without such a boring thing as a script, most of his tricks were invented "on the fly." Today, oddly enough, improvisation, as a special kind of acting, has not completely disappeared either, and sometimes real masterpieces are born in front of the camera, which would be very difficult to repeat.
Gentlemen of Fortune
The scene with gymnastics in the country was filmed in winter, on the day of filming, as luck would have it, it was 17-degree frost outside. Leonov, Vitsin and Kramarov did not want to run half naked so much that they agreed not to undress and go out to the cameras dressed. Radner Muratov alone did not join the quiet acting conspiracy - according to memoirs, he generally kept aloof in the group of star colleagues, therefore, because of him, an attempt to disobey the director failed. Jumping out naked in the cold, Vasily Alibabaevich and others made them do the same. In revenge, Kramarov crept up to him and began rubbing it with snow right in front of the camera, and Vitsin, to make it more fun, began to rub Kramarov himself. As a result, this very take was taken into the film, although the actors would never agree to repeat this.
The Diamond Arm
On the set of his favorite comedy, as it turned out, there were several unplanned moments, which were then included in the final version. Andrei Mironov was known as a great master of improvisation. For example, once in front of the camera, he shook his head so successfully that they decided to make this gesture a "highlight" of his hero. And a brilliant phrase: the actor completely invented it himself and gave it out in one breath - Gaidai could not miss such a masterpiece.
The savory word "Idiot!" which Anatoly Papanov barks out of the water was actually intended for the director's assistant. The fact is that the water temperature in the Black Sea at the time of filming was not very summer, and the actor froze so that he could not restrain himself and after another screwed up take began to swear.
And in one of the last shots, when Nikulin was hit on the head by a crane hook, the unplanned injury was so serious that the actor barely finished shooting that day. It would be a shock for any foreign artist to find out that the Russian celebrity did not receive a dime for such damage, because it is customary there to ruin a film company, even breaking a nail in the frame.
Love and pigeons
One of the most memorable phrases in the film was the improvisation of Sergei Yursky. He himself invented a scene where his hero overhears the conversation of the Kuzyakins, and when they chase him away, he says: - This "pearl" went to the people and became a catch phrase.
Irony of Fate or Enjoy Your Bath
In the final version of the film, there are two brilliant acting improvisations, and both belong to Yuri Yakovlev. When his ill-fated hero Hippolyte is trying to wash himself in his clothes, the actor says in surprise:. The fact is that the bathroom for filming was created in the pavilions of Mosfilm. Water did flow from the taps, only it was almost always cold - filmmakers in the 70s were rarely pampered. Therefore, when one of the takes was unexpectedly given hot water, Yakovlev was really sincerely surprised. He was not taken aback in the scene at the table, when the fish that he began to taste was not the first freshness. The phrase has become one of the favorites of the audience.
Love affair at work
There are a lot of improvisations in the film, Eldar Ryazanov always gave the actors the opportunity to prove themselves, and each of them brought a lot of jokes and discoveries to the famous comedy. However, one of the funniest was the episode in which the character of Andrei Myagkov fights off an angry boss. In one of the takes, the actor suddenly grabbed little Lia Akhedzhakova and began to hide behind her. The secretary, who did not expect such a turn, yelled very naturally.
Cinderella
Faina Ranevskaya, who had a sparkling sense of humor and a rather heavy character, was very fond of improvising on the set. However, Evgeny Schwartz absolutely could not stand it when the actors deviated even one iota from the text he had written. Faina Georgievna talked about the moments of joint creativity:
As a result, a magnificent episode appeared in which the Stepmother, sobbing, sits down in front of the mirror, and Cinderella gives her outlandish feathers.
A real battle broke out between the author and Janina Zheimo, when she decided to slightly change one scene. It seemed to the actress that Cinderella should not simply and quickly agree to put on a shoe for her sister, because all her hopes were crumbling. However, Evgeny Schwartz did not agree, he believed that the kindness and ability for self-sacrifice of the main character were her main qualities. Then Yanina Boleslavovna went into open disobedience. During filming, in response to the request of the Stepmother, she firmly refused. Ranevskaya repeated the phrase, more convincingly.
Cinderella answered:. Confused for a second, the Stepmother then began to say exactly what this heroine had to say in this case: Smiling, Evgeny Schwartz added:.

How Soviet soldiers survived, who were carried into the ocean for 49 days, and How they were met in the USA and the USSR after they were rescued
In the early spring of 1960, the crew of the American aircraft carrier Kearsarge discovered a small barge in the middle of the ocean. On board were four emaciated Soviet soldiers. They survived by feeding on leather belts, tarpaulin boots and industrial water. But even after 49 days of extreme drift, the soldiers told the American sailors who found them something like this: help us only with fuel and food, and we will get home ourselves

At one time, these people were sure that their actions did not run counter to either the law or morality. Men and women who did their work as guards in concentration camps or otherwise contributing to the development of fascism, could not even imagine that they would have to appear not only before the judgment of God, but also to answer for their actions before people, according to the letter of the law. Their crimes against humanity deserve the most severe reckoning, but they are often ready to bargain for the slightest ambassador
12 Soviet songs that became more popular than the films in which they were performed
These songs have long lived their own lives and have become so popular that they are rightfully considered legends of Soviet culture. However, few people will remember that for the first time they sounded in films that, for one reason or another, could not repeat the success of the soundtracks. Perhaps the reason for this was that in the era of the USSR, the best poets and composers were involved in writing compositions for the paintings, well, or history, as they say, simply "did not go"
What is point Nemo, why they could not find it for so long, and when they found it, they were scared
The most surprising fact about this conditional point in the World Ocean is probably the very fact of its existence. It was possible to calculate the ocean pole of this inaccessibility thanks to the calculations of the engineer Hvoja Lukatele from Croatia. According to them, point Nemo is closer to people in orbit than on Earth. It is Lukatele who is considered the discoverer of point Nemo
"Ali Baba and 40 robbers": Why they did not shoot a movie with the top artists of the USSR on a musical hit, although they sold 3 million records
This performance, according to its author, was born as a result of "slovenly skits and a parody of the boring Scheherazade", and as a result it became one of the brightest cultural events of the early 1980s. In the USSR, 3 million records of "Ali Baba" were sold, and the actors, whose voices spoke and sang the heroes of the fairy tale, were recognized on the street: the phrase "Eat an orange!" became among the people as beloved as once "Mulya, don't make me nervous!" After this triumph, Veniamin Smekhov, the author of the cult performance
