She was always real: on the screen or in real life. She never played, she lived the life of each of her heroines, invariably creating images of strong women. Rimma Markova herself was like that: strong, strong-willed, domineering. Fans admired her original Russian beauty, and all her life she considered herself ugly. She married twice for love, but her third marriage was on the instructions of the Communist Party.

We lived at the station until the artistic director of the theater, Ivan Bersenev, allowed them to live right in the theater, and later helped them get into a room in a dormitory.

Rimma studied diligently, dreamed of becoming a real actress. And I felt colossal responsibility for my brother. Of course, she paid attention to men, she even liked someone. But she considered herself completely ugly, so she did not show her sympathies in any way.

And during the holidays spent with her parents in Makhachkala, the future actress met the military pilot Semyon. He fell in love with a stately blonde beauty almost at first sight.

He looked after beautifully, gave flowers, and when he found out that the girl loved watermelons, he brought a whole bag for her. It was impossible not to succumb to the charm of a stately military man who, moreover, courted so gallantly, so gentle and attentive. Rimma fell in love.

But after the wedding, her husband radically changed the relationship. He believed that only a patriarchal marriage has the right to exist and demanded that the young wife leave the theater, and take care of the house and family.

But Rimma was not going to say goodbye to her dream of becoming an actress. The marriage lasted for about a year, after which it was terminated. Only once, when she was already on the stage, they brought her a bouquet with the signature: "From the pilot."

For a long time, the actress did not think about marriage until she met the musician Vladimir Nikitin during the tour. Stately, handsome, incredibly charming. Rimma Vasilievna fell in love. However, the handsome musician completely reciprocated her. It seemed that the happiness would be endless.

But, as it turned out, the husband suffered from alcoholism. The actress did not immediately notice this, but when, after the birth of his daughter Tatyana, he went into a deep binge, everything became clear. But Markova was ready to fight for her happiness. She accepted him by anyone, tried to understand, to forgive.

But everything was cut short at the moment when she found out about her husband's infidelity. She was not going to put up with this, the actress just put him out the door. And she closed the door to her heart for him too.

The acquaintance of the actress and the sultry Spanish aristocrat took place at the San Sebastian Film Festival, where Markova, as part of a large Soviet delegation, arrived with the film "Woman's Kingdom".

Jose Gonzalez saw a stately Russian beauty and simply lost his head. He followed her heels, showered with flowers. She held on firmly: no one would pat on the head for communicating with foreigners.

But Jose Gonzalez was not so easy. He began to present gifts to all party officials. And they themselves have already pushed the actress to a relationship with a rich Spaniard. Later, the actress, laughing, will say that these men, who were supposed to be responsible for the moral character of the members of the delegation, simply sold it to a rich man.

He passionately confessed his love, demanded attention. And she didn't even look in his direction. A week after the festival, he arrived in Moscow. At that moment, when he was standing at her door, she called a member of the Central Committee, Vladimir Vladimirovich, asking what she should do. To which a serious man replied that she should marry, and if something goes wrong, he will divorce her in no time.

She got married. But she could not love him. Her Spanish husband's only drawback was his jealousy. The marriage lasted only a year, but they did not formalize the divorce. Until the end of her days, Rimma Markova was considered the wife, and then the widow of Jose Ganzalez.

She never regretted that her life turned out that way. The actress with an amazing sense of humor and the ability to make fun of herself, said that she was very glad that no stranger and foul-smelling man lived next to her.

Her last and strongest love was her grandson Fedor. For him, she was a friend, advisor, caring and understanding grandmother. He is a joy and hope for her. Rimma Markova left in January 2015, only two months before her ninetieth birthday.
