Yan Arlazorov with his improvisations and jokes could make anyone laugh to tears. It seemed to the audience that in life he was as cheerful and bright as on stage. It was hard to imagine that behind the scenes a comic actor turns into an ordinary tired person with sad eyes. Yan Arlazorov, who made the only mistake in his personal life, was forced to pay for her until the end of his days.

How it all began

Yan Arlazorov dreamed of the stage almost from the very childhood. It was his great-uncle, an actor of the Vakhtangov Theater, who took his grandson with him backstage and opened the great world of art to him. Yang's decision to enter drama school did not cause surprise and discontent from his relatives. In 1965, Yan became a student at the Shchukin Theater School. There he met Yeolu Sanko.

He was fascinated by this beauty, and after a few months of courtship and dating, he proposed to her. However, the day that was supposed to be the happiest in the life of the actor was the first day of life's drama. His beloved ran away with the director right on the wedding day.

However, Jan's feelings were so great that he waited for her return. And she returned when she finally realized that she had become the victim of a banal deception on the part of the director-womanizer. And Jan forgave her, they began to live together. At that moment, none of them thought about what their reunion would turn out to be.

Difficulties in the life of a young family

Yang and Yela lived with the actor's parents in a small one-room apartment. Professional difficulties were added to everyday difficulties. Yola quickly became popular. There she lived for a long time with her daughter in the dressing room. The worries had a very strong effect on her health, her hair even fell out due to nervousness, she constantly wore a headscarf or a wig.

Unforgiven grudges

After some time, Yola Ivanovna and Alena returned to Moscow, but no matter how hard Yan Maerovich tried to improve relations with his wife and daughter, he did not succeed. The ex-wife categorically did not make contact and did not allow him to communicate with Alena.

The actor only got hopes of communicating with his daughter when she entered college. Her father paid for her education and had the opportunity to see and talk to her daughter quite often. However, all contacts ended immediately after graduation. Alena disappeared from the life of the actor.

Jan Maerovich was very worried about this situation and took offense at his daughter and wife. He really wanted to have a normal family. But as a result, it turned out that he was married to his job. She was his source of joy and vitality.

Yan Arlazorov was the first comedian actor who began to include active dialogues with the viewer in his numbers. The most famous characters of Jan Maerovich were the cashier at the station (the famous lingering exclamation “Gospidya!”) And a man from the people (with the popular address “Hey, man!”).

The brilliant improviser made whole halls laugh to tears. At each concert, he laid out so that the shirt after the number could be wrung out. And behind the scenes, colleagues often saw Yan Maerovich sad, with a dull look. He was never able to come to terms with the tragedy of his life.

His failure in this area wounded not only himself, but his entire family. Grandfather and grandmother were deprived of the opportunity to communicate with their granddaughter, whom they loved very much.

When the actor was diagnosed with cancer, he still continued to work, without reducing the load. After that, he could no longer go on stage and limited his social circle only to the closest people: father and brother. He did not want anyone to see him sick and weak. But until the last day, the actor hoped to meet or at least talk with his only daughter. But the miracle did not happen. He passed away on March 7, 2009. The daughter came to say goodbye to her father when it was no longer possible to change or correct anything.
