Eian Higgins Jonesis (Eyan Higgins Jonesis) is a British illustrator with a series of animal portraits. The heroes of his paintings look directly at the audience, and strength, dignity, greatness are read in their gaze.

According to the artist, he created a series of portraits to convey the beauty, fear, vulnerability and real splendor that the animal kingdom possesses. Eian tried to portray the importance of each beast, emphasizing that everyone must be treated with respect. The viewer does not just look at the image of the animal, he meets his gaze. Direct eye contact is intended to help the visitors of the exhibition realize that our planet is inhabited not only by people, but also by an amazingly rich world of fauna, which is so easy to forget about living in big cities.
