The estate was built by Dmitry Filippov, the son of a Moscow baker. The secluded site for the construction was not chosen by chance. In his own estate, Dmitry wanted to hide his beloved, the gypsy Aza. He fell in love with her at first sight, barely seeing her in the gypsy choir. He built this amazingly romantic mansion for her.

However, soon the windy baker found consolation in the arms of another beauty, and the proud gypsy, not enduring the shame, went up to the observation deck of the estate and rushed down. Since then, her ghost has invariably wandered in these places.

After the revolution, the estate was in disrepair, in the 1950s it housed a sports base, and then a medical center. Athletes and patients of the medical center noticed the ghostly silhouette of a long-haired girl in a wide gypsy skirt.
