On February 28, the famous theater and film actress, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Tatyana Vasilyeva celebrates her 73rd birthday. No one believed that she could someday become a star of the stage and screen, not even herself. Her entire creative path is a story about overcoming, first of all, herself. Which viewers have never seen the actress, who became her greatest joy and the most important weakness in life, and for whom she feels guilty - further in the review.

As a child, she felt absolutely unhappy. It seemed to her that she did not live up to anyone's expectations - not at school, not in the family. Tatyana did not study well - not because she was not capable, but because she did not want to attract attention to herself once again. She seemed to herself the largest, the most ridiculous, the ugliest and most awkward in the class. The reason for ridicule was the Jewish surname Itsykovich, and 41st foot size, and high growth (176 cm). Years later, Tatiana admitted that during her school years she always carried a razor with her - she was ready to commit suicide at any time.

The realization of who she is and what she should do came suddenly when she was 13 years old. Once she was returning from school and suddenly realized: by all means, she must become an artist. Later, she explained this by the fact that, perhaps, such a profession was for her a way to escape from her real self. But then Tatiana took out her diary, slashed her finger with a blade, dipped her pen and wrote across the page: "I will be an actress!" Of course, no one believed in this, not even her parents. Due to the fact that she did not study well, her mother forbade her to study in circles, but Tatyana secretly ran to literary and theater circles, declaring that she was going to a tutor.

Soon after graduation, Tatyana left her native Leningrad for Moscow, telling her parents that she was going on an excursion. In fact, she submitted documents to all theatrical universities in the capital. They were ready to accept her at VGIK and the Moscow Art Theater School, but she chose the latter, overcoming the competition of 500 people for a place! Having learned about where his daughter had entered, the father came to Moscow, went to the rector and asked him to expel Tatyana, so as not to "spoil the girl's life." He loved her very much, but he was sincerely sure that she had chosen the wrong path.

Having successfully completed her studies, Tatiana became an actress of the Moscow Theater of Satire. Despite the fact that no one doubted her talent, the teachers did not seem to know what to do with her - it seemed to them that she did not correspond to any of the acting roles, and she got only tiny episodes without words. She herself later defined her role shortly and ironically: "I am a clown!" But when she came to the theater, she got the role of even lyrical heroines.

Tatyana Vasilyeva believes that she took place as an actress thanks to the chief director of the Theater of Satire Valentin Pluchek, who was the first to draw attention to her extraordinary talent. He used her in many productions, which later became famous motion pictures. It was thanks to these films-performances that the audience saw her for the first time on the screens. Vasilieva devoted 14 years of her life to this theater.

In the theater, she was urged to change the discordant and difficult to pronounce surname Itsykovich to some loud pseudonym. The problem was solved by itself when Tatyana married the actor Anatoly Vasiliev and took his last name. Later, she regretted it, but nevertheless kept her for herself even after 14 years later, she and her husband broke up. In the first half of the 1970s. she was mentioned in the credits of films as Itsykovich, but the whole country soon recognized her as Tatyana Vasilyeva.

Tatyana Vasilyeva became for Valentin Pluchek not only an obedient student and beloved muse - the actress did not hide the fact that they had an affair, although the director was 38 years older than her. The debutante got the main roles in all productions, and for this she was disliked by other actresses. The only thing that Pluchek reproached her with was the decision to make a temporary pause in her career when her son was born. Then the director said in his hearts that she died for him as an actress. But Vasilyeva said that her career faded into the background for her when it came to children. Nobody saw the actress as they knew her at home - to those around her, she seemed strong-willed, domineering, extravagant, self-confident, and her daughter said that she was very soft, trusting, pliable and receptive. Her children have always been her greatest weakness for her.

When the actress got married for the second time, Pluchek could not come to terms with this, and she had to quit the theater. Then she was left without work. For 4 years, Vasilyeva did not perform on the theatrical stage and almost did not act in films. This was in the first half of the 1990s, during a period of timelessness in Russian art. The family had to live in a dacha, renting out their Moscow apartment - this is the only way they were able to survive these difficult times. Tatiana did not complain about her fate - she took it as an important lesson: "".

Tatyana Vasilyeva was married twice - after breaking up with her first husband, she married actor Georgy Martirosyan, with whom she performed on the same stage. In this marriage, her daughter Elizabeth was born. The couple spent about 20 years together, but the actress said that she was happy only for the first 3 months, and later called this marriage an obsession. In addition to two official marriages, Vasilyeva had many hobbies, which she did not hide. But at the same time she noted: "". For her creative success, she had to pay with her loneliness. And it seemed to her absolutely logical. "" - she said.

However, the actress does not consider herself lonely, because her children and grandchildren are always with her. Many reproach her for being so fanatically devoted to them, to which she herself replies: "".

The only thing the actress never doubted about was the correctness of the chosen path. At the moment, there are more than 120 works in her filmography, and she continues to act in films. After all, it was this profession that helped her defeat her demons: How Tatyana Vasilyeva fought with her complexes.
