It would seem that some years, decades ago, woodcarving flourished as a craft, because it is given to people by nature - they like to do something with their own hands. In our century, the situation has changed a little, now for such an occupation they use not their hands, but lasers. However, the projects don't get any worse.
Interestingly, anything can inspire such art, just like any other. Even comics! Although these two things, at first glance, have nothing to do with each other, the duo of designers Phil Robson and Mathieu Carlot created their work thanks to the comics. They took sheets of wood, from which such interesting slogans were cut out with the help of a laser, the shapes of the windows were taken from the same place, from comics, as well as the text. Although we know that the works are not handmade, that is why it does not become more unpleasant to look at them.
I am sure that the production of such a picture takes no less time than if it was done by hand. Still, both there and there the work is extremely painstaking. I think everyone would not mind buying something like that - the work will somehow resemble a frame for a photograph at home. By the way, I think you can insert a photo there too!

Wood art is a trend that was in vogue back in the era of stone axes. Wood still remains an indispensable material for works of art - and even such non-standard ones as living wooden sculpture. Dream collages or collages-dreams of the artist Eleanor Wood (Eleanor Wood)
When we sleep, we always dream of something, or almost always. And our dreams are most often a reflection of our reality, or dreams.
