The combination of red and black colors always evokes a storm of emotions in people - two bright colors that are so wonderfully combined with each other do not leave anyone indifferent. And designers are well aware of this, therefore this is not the first time they use this particular color scheme in their projects.

The designers at Redstr / Collective did the same, creating a teapot called "The Slave Betty". The teapot, by the way, is truly British - this is evidenced by its shape and decoration. Someone will consider it completely wrong - to make the kettle black. Tea ceremonies are always associated with something pleasant, solemn, light - and here, again, a black teapot. And if it weren't for these red strings on it, I think no one would have liked it. But these are not just some strings, but specially tied ropes … Do they resemble anything? The combination of black and red and the name ("Slave Betty") were chosen for a reason. These ropes are tied with the Japanese method of tying Shibari (or Shibari), which is used by sadomasochists.

Probably, you will not want to drink tea right away, although this connection will surely amuse and even lead someone. It's not just that the kettle is released in an exclusive limited edition - such value should not fall into any hands. After all, Shibari is the Japanese art of aesthetic bondage. I am glad that before you drink tea, you do not have to untangle all these threads - everything is much easier.
