What could be better than a morning cup of coffee? Only latte prepared by a professional barista. Kazuki Yamamoto - a talented 26-year-old guy from Japan who turns every cup of this wonderful drink into a work of art.
Coffee art - the skill of creating drawings on the crema of coffee - is a popular trend in modern "everyday" art. In any elite coffee shop you will meet a master who can easily "draw" simple patterns, hearts or flowers. Some baristas go further - they decorate lattes with portraits of famous people or images of cult characters (it is appropriate to recall the work of Michael Brich, which we have already written about on our website Culturology.ru).
However, Kazuki Yamamoto went even further: he decided that two-dimensional images were yesterday, so he began to create volumetric miniatures from coffee foam. Before serving a latte to a visitor, Kazuki manages to "build" a 3D sculpture in a matter of minutes, since the drink cannot be allowed to cool. Whimsical giraffes, dogs, bears, even the world famous Hello Kitty - it turns out that anyone can live in the cups. Sometimes the barista even creates "double" portions in which one of the "sculptures" reaches for the second cup. That only there is a funny kitten, ready to jump into the next cup with fish.
Kazuki Yamamoto currently works at Cafe10g in the large shopping city of Osaka, but dreams of opening his own cafe in Tokyo one day, where visitors can enjoy his funny creativity.

Wise Owl for a Cup of Coffee: Owl Cafes in Japan
On the door of this cafe you will not see a bell with a button, or a bell with a cord, or even the usual inscription: "Please press if they do not open it." But despite this, hospitable owls really live here, just like in the tale of Winnie the Pooh. Owl cafes have become a real mainstream in Japan: dozens of establishments and thousands of those wishing to drop in for a cup of coffee to wise owls
A cup of coffee. Hanging sculpture by Bertrand Fevre "Ceci n'est pas"
A huge porcelain cup, a sculpture by Bertrand Fevre called "Ceci n'est pas", won first place in the International Creation of Limoges Porcelain. A cup is like a cup, the one who does not know what the "trick" of this piece is, will shrug his shoulders. And the fact is that "Ceci n'est pas" consists of 33 separate parts, hand carved from quality Limoges porcelain
One million coffee beans. One World, One Family, One Coffee: another mosaic of Saimir Strati
This Albanian maestro, multiple "record holder" for mosaics, Saimir Strati, has already been met by the readers of Culturology.Ru on the pages of the site. It was he who created a painting of 300,000 screws and a portrait of Leonardo da Vinci from nails, and also laid out images from corks and toothpicks. And the new mosaic, on which the author is working today, probably cost him more than one hundred cups of strong aromatic coffee, since he lays it out from a million coffee beans
Hong Yi's coffee cup prints
Take a closer look at your desktop (real, not computer). Surely you will find there stains from cups of coffee and tea, which once stood on it. Someone thinks this is evidence of a person's untidiness, while others, like the artist Hong Yi, look for inspiration in this. After all, it is in this way that she paints her pictures
