Young artist and designer Diana Beltran Herrera from Colombia considers himself to be a very addictive and enthusiastic person. So, since childhood, she watched her mother do needlework, and tried to repeat what she was making. And then she herself became addicted to applications, collages, painting … But she considers her main hobby paper, more precisely, what can be built from it. And believe me, Diana Beltran Herrera knows a lot about paper! Having got hold of scissors, a couple of colored pencils and at least a couple of sheets of paper, the girl is able to turn this stationery still life into something special. For example, a bird, an animal, or an amazing abstract figure in which you can see a starfish, a fantastic insect, or a marvelous forest flower.
And one can only imagine what would happen if the artist was left alone with a whole package of colored paper, giving her as much time as needed. Amazing paper compositions look like alien colorful landscapes, like flower glades of unknown lands, or incredible tapestries from the chambers of Arab sheikhs.
Of course, Diana's portfolio also contains smaller-scale works such as funny collages, installations on the theme of flora and fauna, as well as colorful abstract forms and figures. And from time to time all this can be seen at exhibitions of contemporary art, or online in the author's personal gallery.

The artist who operates on paper. Paper Cuts by Julene Harrison
For the most part, people learn to wield a scalpel in a medical school, and then in a medical school, they undergo long-term practice, and only then they are allowed to the patient in the operating room. But there are exceptions in life, when a scalpel becomes an instrument not of a surgeon, but of an artist, and they operate not on a person, but on paper. Such operations, however, also require a lot of practice, dexterity and talent, and all this has a British artist named Julene Harrison

Light Photos: The Towns Of Luis Beltran
The city is not only a place where humanity embodies its titanic dreams (as in the epic of the world by Christian Stoll), and not only a space of peace and loneliness (as in the cold world of Akos Major). The city is also … the abode of light. At least, this is how the photographer Luis Beltran sees him, in whose amazingly bright photographs the city streets reveal their mysterious and dreamy soul
