Each of us can easily identify a dozen or two trees by the shape of the leaves. Botanist professionals will be able to identify hundreds and even thousands. But the artist Christoph Niemann created a number of his own designer leaves. And as usual for him, these products are made with a fair amount of humor.
We already know Christoph Nemann for his humor in the style of Google Maps and for the project "My life with wires". It should be noted that this American-German artist cannot be denied in talent and sense of humor. So his next work called Bio-Diversity (biodiversity) is also designed to cause smiles.
This time the subject of the artist's research was the leaves from the trees. Christoph Nemann created a whole series of original leaves, made of course from the leaves of pre-existing plants.
For example, he made several leaves at once in the form of American states. He has leaves in the form of a bolt and a nut, in the form of a T-shirt, in the form of a slice of pizza, in the form of icons for wireless interfaces. Nemann has a leaf in the Swiss army style, that is, connecting leaves from several trees at once.
And he has several dozen such works. They play up various realities of life, Nemann actively uses wordplay. Well, the artist's sense of humor and ingenuity can only be envied.
