Autumn leaf fall is inspiring. An extravaganza of color, a magical atmosphere of lightness, coolness and tranquility, and a lot of ideas for creativity that lie literally on the surface. So, at one time, an artist named Lorenzo Duran, and today the carved leaves from the series Fall-ing Leaves appear in the works of the artist LadyTinuz … LadyTinuz was born and raised in Switzerland. The artist is fond of painting and computer graphics, loves walks in the autumn and spring parks, and during one of these autumn walks she picked up some beautiful leaves that were plucked from the branches by autumn leaves. Subsequently, they turned into stunning openwork works that make up the Fall-ing Leaves project.
With the precision of a surgeon, with the patience of an angel and the diligence of Cinderella, LadyTinuz works on carvings, dissecting thin, delicate autumn leaves. With a blade, scalpel, knife or an ordinary sewing needle, the girl helps herself to turn the leaves into carved silhouettes, depicting animals, insects, people on yellow, green and orange "palms", in general, life as it is. So far in the Fall-ing Leaves series, there are not many leaves with carved silhouettes, but this is just the beginning. Read more on the LadyTinuz website.
