By the will of fate, in English the word plant means both a factory and plants - two objects that have a completely polar impact on the environment. Some pollute it, others clean it … This eternal problem of mankind was dedicated to the "green" art project called Plant for the Planet.
The project was built around the creativity of leaf carving that has transformed green leaves into factories and plants. More precisely, factory faucets and chimneys, cars, planes, and other air pollutants were carved inside the leaves from different trees, and these patterns were subsequently adorned with posters of the company Legas Delaney, the author of this art project.
All this happened for a reason: Legas Delaney, a company that fights for the environment, chose such a creative visual image for their advertising. Advertised a website for a company called "Plant for the Planet". And once again they recalled that every tree absorbs carbon dioxide, giving us oxygen. Whether to chop this tree down is up to the inhabitants of the city, country, planet, Universe.

A hut with a roof made of "leaves": an architectural creation of Ivo Mareines and Raphael Patalano
I wish I could get to an uninhabited island, where there will be eternal summer, build there a hut with a roof of palm leaves, collect rainwater and look for adventure! As a child, many of us lacked something like this. Architects Ivo Mareines and Rafael Patalano have made the dream of millions of children to have their own tent in a hot climate. From a bird's eye view, the building looks like a spreading - alas, not a cranberry, but a palm tree. The crown roof protects the inhabitants from the hot Brazilian sun. But in general the post
Fashion from nature. Clothes made of leaves, flowers and ears
In one of the tales of Gianni Rodari, an unusual world was described where everything around was edible. And not only edible, but also tasty: the watch chain is like raspberry ice cream, confetti is like mint candies, the bicycle seat is like eclairs with cream. Probably, it was from this fairy tale that the artist Ted Sebarese came up with the idea of edible outfits, which we already wrote about on the website Culturology.RF. But what about the fact that art is an eternal value, and food, whatever one may say, quickly ends
City landscape on autumn leaves. Matthew Richards Art Project in Support of Affected New York
The world is not without good people. And no matter what they say, but next to us there will always be sympathetic and compassionate people who will sincerely support and encourage, lending a helping hand. So, in the spring of last year, after the monstrous accident in Fukushima, every third artist, designer and sculptor dedicated their art projects in support of Japan, which were conventionally called "humanitarian aid" art. This year, such assistance is being provided to New York, the American "pearl" that has become

Letters from leaves, numbers from leaves. Cut Leaf Typography Art Project by Mei Linn Chan
Such extravagant creativity as leaf carving finds more and more supporters, perhaps due to the simplicity of the materials, or due to the graceful, delicate and fragile result. But the fact is obvious. Most recently, we wrote about carved leaves with curly silhouettes created by the artist LadyTinuz, and today we will talk about Mei Linn Chan and her deciduous typography Cut Leaf Typography
