In one of the tales of Gianni Rodari, an unusual world was described, where everything around was edible. And not only edible, but also tasty: the watch chain is like raspberry ice cream, confetti is like mint candies, the bicycle seat is like eclairs with cream. Probably, it was from this fairy tale that the artist Ted Sebarese came up with the idea of edible outfits, which we already wrote about on the website Culturology. RF. But what about the fact that art is an eternal value, and food, whatever one may say, quickly ends? Unusual fashion from another author, a Finnish artist Anni Rapinoja, only horses or cows can eat. After all, every handbag, every pair of shoes or an elegant dress from this collection is made of leaves, grass, flower petals, cobs of cotton … Annie Rapinoja is a Greenpeace fashion designer who advocates for the preservation and purification of the ecological environment, and therefore all her outfits are environmentally friendly, donated by nature itself, and most importantly - very beautiful and attractive. At first glance, you can't say that fluffy slippers, soft and cozy, are actually made of willow cats, a fur coat is made of ears of corn, and shoes are made of autumn foliage gathered in the area.
The author of a collection of unusual outfits believes that this project will help her not with words, but with deeds to express everything that she feels in relation to nature, and how she understands the friendship between man and the environment. You don't have to "kill" to get what you want, Annie says. After all, you can wait until the earth itself gives you what you need. So, she herself never "kills" the plants: all the materials used in her work "died" by their own death.
By the way, many models presented in the collection of "natural fashion" look so attractive that some fashionistas have probably ordered a pair of creative shoes, original handbags or cozy slippers for a long time. But alas, all these are just sculptures that stand in the windows and delight passers-by only with their appearance. The entire collection of vegetable fashion can be seen on Anni Rapinoja's website.

What clothes from the 1990s are at the height of fashion again: The time for boiled bikes and bicycles (and not only) has come
Fashion is cyclical, and designers, indulging in nostalgia, periodically suggest returning to a particular era. And this time they decided to make a stop in the dashing 90s, where a riot of colors, oversized robes, experiments with style and the most unexpected combinations reigned. Interestingly, this time, non-couturiers were the first to pay attention to the trends of the last decade of the 20th century - the style first appeared “on the streets”, later settled in social networks, and only then eminent fashion houses drew attention to it
Medieval fashion blogger for 40 years talked about clothes: What the first fashion magazine looked like
Fashion blogging is not a modern invention at all. This idea was first realized a long time ago, in the 16th century, and the author was not a woman. A German accountant who worked for influential bankers was simply obsessed with beautiful clothes. In those days, it was not yet possible to take a selfie and post it on Instagram, so the medieval fashionista was forced to hire artists who carefully recorded his outfits. 137 such sketches with detailed descriptions were made up of the work "Klaidungsb ü c
Flowers of life and other flowers in the paintings of Donald Zolan (Donald Zolan)
American artist Donald Zolan can be called one of the kindest, most positive and sensual contemporary painters. After all, such pictures that come out from under his brush can only be created by a very sensitive person with a large and loving heart. Interestingly, he himself has children?
Volumetric sculptures of dry leaves and flowers
In childhood, we all dried leaves or flowers, leaving them for some time between the pages of some book that we do not mind. But the Spanish artist Ignacio Canales Aracil continues to do this in adulthood. Moreover, he achieved such success in this business that he creates volumetric sculptures from dried leaves and flowers
They are greeted by clothes, seen off by clothes. Colorful sculpture installations
Once we wrote about how skillfully creative people are able to use available materials to create their imperishable works. For example, using clothes, because not a single person living in modern society can do without it, which means that every second wardrobe is full of things to the eyeballs. So, the artist Thomas Voorn creates graffiti from clothes, and the Cuban creators Alain Guerra and Neraldo de la Paz's - colorful sculptural installations
