We all love superheroes and we secretly want to be like one of them. Toronto-based photographer Ian Poole uses a combination of Photoshop, costumed models and plastic figures to create original scripts for the most popular superheroes and supervillains, from Wonder Woman to the Hulk, portraying them in real life and proving that they, too, are capable of small weaknesses …
It is not the first time that superheroes are a subject of art, let us recall the series of sculptures by Adrian Tranquilli "Superheroes Cry Too," or, say, cartoons by Donald Soffiti. In terms of the content of his work, Ian Pool is certainly closer to the second, since these are really very funny photos.
For example, there is nothing more ridiculous than seeing a famous villain sitting on the toilet and reading a magazine about parents and their children. This is the kind of photo Ian Pool took of Darth Vader. And the cheap decoration with the inscription “May the force be with you” only adds to the laughter.
Or the Hulk - a terrifying green man, a mountain of muscle and anger. But all this his showiness diminishes when he just needs to take the little dog for a walk.
A Wonder Woman. Anyone who can't get over her failure is likely to be rehabilitated by learning about her secret passions and seeing what she does after sundown.
Batman probably happens to drop by for a cup of coffee at a late-night eatery, and Spider-Man relieves himself around the corner. After all, superheroes are people too, not without sin. Is it the genius scientist-genius Dr. Octopus to blame for the Twilight movie? There is no dispute about tastes.
Ian Poole's amazing photos prove that in real life, superheroes and supervillains are just like us, and are also capable of small weaknesses. And knowing their merits, it's really funny.
Photographs of superheroes placed in real funny situations are not the only hobby of this photographer. Ian Pool posted a bunch of his other works on his website, many of which are provocative.

Famous contemporaries of Repin in the photo and in painting: what were the people in real life, whose portraits the artist painted
Ilya Repin was one of the greatest portrait painters in world art. He created a whole gallery of portraits of his outstanding contemporaries, thanks to which we can draw conclusions not only about how they looked, but also what people they were - after all, Repin is rightfully considered the finest psychologist who captured not only the external features of posing, but also the dominant features their characters. At the same time, he tried to distract himself from his own attitude to the posing and grasp the inner deep essence of whether

Pictures about life. Emotional painting by artist Ian Francis (Ian Francis)
"My works are about modern life, in particular about television, world events, celebrities and everyday life" - this is how the British artist Ian Francis describes his work, who, in truth, never had plans to become an artist. But still, if a person is destined to become someone, then he will undoubtedly become one. Less than ten years later, Ian Francis is a successful artist, whose work is widely represented in many famous galleries
Pool-non-pool. Fake Swimming Pool art project by Leandro Erlich
Look into the pool and see people in it walking freely along the bottom, laughing, talking, breathing, jumping and even dancing - something from the realm of fantasy. But those who had a chance to visit the city of Kanazawa and visit The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art will disagree with you, because they were able not only to see this spectacle with their own eyes, but also to become its direct participants, jumping, running and laughing enough at the bottom of the pool, under the water column. In this muse
