There were, of course, many other long trips, from which the master brought a huge number of sketches, sketches and finished paintings.

Mountains are the greatest passion of the artist, who always keep surprise and impermanence, and in this he always finds their charm and charm., - the artist says with enthusiasm, giving interviews to journalists.

The incredible strength and power of these majestic giants manifested itself in the masterful skill and in the way the artist conveys the image. And, mind you, in the work of Alexander there are absolutely no extremes inherent in contemporary art: neither photographic hyperrealism, nor violent artistic imagination in the fantasy style. There is only natural nature, and the artist's amazing flair for the nuances of light, color and air.

The artist works in a sketchy manner with wide body strokes, which fully corresponds to the "Alla-Prima" technique, that is, in one session. Later, only defining touches, accents and highlights are applied. This is explained by the fact that the mountain landscape is a special specificity and requires, as mentioned above, very fast execution. Since with the movement of the sun, the lighting, the very state of the atmosphere, and the mood of nature change every minute. Therefore, Alexander Babich is in a hurry to catch on the tip of his brush exactly the moment that will look spectacular on the canvas. And he does it just fine …

A few words about the artist

Alexander Babich was born in 1958 in Kazakhstan. Graduated from the Yaroslavl Art School. And for 35 years now, the painter has lived and painted his amazing paintings in the Stavropol Territory.

Alexander is a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia and the International Federation of Artists. He is a regular participant in all-Russian and international exhibitions, including personal ones. His work at different times has been marked by numerous diplomas and awards. Therefore, it is not surprising that the master is widely in demand and popular among collectors and landscape painting lovers.

Alexander Babich's works are in the local regional museum of fine arts, as well as in private collections in Canada, USA, Germany, China, Japan, France, England, Greece, Australia, Turkey.
