The Polish designer has been creating unusual posters for films and theatrical performances for 30 years. His works are imbued with mysticism, filled with medieval images and can be attributed to the surreal style.
Wiesław Wałkuski was born in 1956 in Bialystok, Poland. He studied graphic design at the Warsaw Academy of Arts and later worked for Polfilm and Film Polski. At the same time, the author worked for many theater studios, drawing posters and leaflets for them. Wiesław Wałkuski still lives in Warsaw and continues to work as a poster designer, illustrator and painter. His works are exhibited at major Polish and international exhibitions, including in Hollywood.
The author has more than 200 posters for films and theatrical performances. His work is highly recognizable due to the subdued color scheme and concentration on the parts. human bodysubject to changes in most works.
