During the final evening of the Cannes Film Festival, which will be held 72 times, it was decided to show a film titled "Unusual" of French production. The press service of the film festival told about this and drew attention to the fact that this film by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakasha was selected for participation in the main competition program. The festival will close on May 25 and it is then that guests of an important cinematic event will be able to enjoy watching this film.

It is worth remembering that Toledano and Nakash previously worked together. Their duet turned out to be quite successful. For the first time he loudly declared himself in 2011, at the time when the film with the title "1 + 1" was presented. During the screening, this film was able to earn $ 445 million and this is the largest figure among all non-English language film stories in the history of the film industry.

Cinema, which received the name "Unusual", has become the seventh tape, which is created by these two masters. It should be noted that this time they not only acted as directors, but also developed the script. The essence of the story is that the main characters are helping adolescent children who have problems with the nervous system. The main roles in this story were played by such actors as Reda Kateb and Vincent Cassel.

The new French film belongs to the genre of social comedy, in which its authors decided to show universal love, the importance of collective forms and humor in life. On the territory of France, this motion picture will be released only in October. Thierry Frémaud, CEO of the Festival de Cannes, described Unusual as a modern story in which the characters are optimistic about their future.

Back in April, the program of the film festival was presented, but there was no information about which motion picture would close this event. Thus, the director of Fremaux and the president of the festival, Pierre Lescure, decided to keep the intrigue. The organizers assume that showing this story at the last session of the festival will allow him to pick up the main award of this event.

It is worth remembering that at the very last moment the festival program included a film entitled “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”, with which Quentin Tarantino worked. The opening of the event on May 14, they decided to entrust the comedy story "The Dead Don't Die" directed by Jim Jarmusch.
