Give a woman as much money as she wants - she will find what to do with it. He will spend part of it for his own pleasure, and from what is left he will build something incredible. In this case, we are talking about unusual sculptures made of money, which are skillfully created by a Canadian artist Kristi Malakoff.
Kristy Malakoff is known to readers of Cultural Studies. Ru for her installations of paper flowers. Apparently, her friendship with such material as paper has moved to another level: the figurines have become more intricate, and the paper has become more expensive. From banknotes that the artist brings from those countries that she visits during business trips and tours, she creates creative ball sculptures that are somewhat reminiscent of origami, but special, improved.
Not cutting, but only folding and interweaving paper money together, Christy Malakoff makes intricate patterns on the surface of these sculptures. She produces flowers, stars, geometric shapes joined together, and even whole bouquets, somehow "packed" in the shape of a ball. Someone will say that this is an unnecessary waste of money, but beauty requires sacrifice, and art even more so.
Christy Malakoff works in the genres of collage, sculpture, installation. Her work is exhibited all over the world, including Canada, USA, Holland, Germany and Russia. These and other products of the author can be seen on her website.
