Rock stars are recognized masters of grandiose concerts and outrageous on stage. Often the charisma of the vocalist determines the success of the group: vivid images, created contrary to all the laws of logic and existing stereotypes, are remembered for a long time by the audience. However, few people manage at least once in their life to look behind the scenes and see what happens after the lights go out, the music dies down and the crowd chanting "encore" slowly disperses. This is what the photographer's joint project is about. Mathias Willie (Matthias Willi) and journalist Olivier Joliata (Olivier Joliat).

The resourceful Swiss in their photo project decided to encroach on almost sacred - the personal space of rock stars. They managed to put together a collection of 144 photographs, which capture the kings of the stage in a completely unsightly form - immediately after the concert. The project was named accordingly: “The Moment After the Show: Rockstars exposed” … The idea appeared back in 2005, when Mathias and Olivier first began to address musicians with such requests.

For six years, Mathias and Olivier managed to attract many world-class stars to the project. Perhaps the most popular among them are Archive, The Black Angels, Buckcherry, Deftones, Metallica, Muse, Placebo, Kid Rock, Sludge. More photos of emaciated but happy stars can be found on the project's official website.
