About water wigs, an unusual decoration for hairless men's heads, invented by an American photographer Tim Tadder, on Kulturologii. Ru we already wrote. The bright emotional photos that made up the Water Wigs series found a response in the hearts of people, and became incredibly popular both on the Internet and on exhibitions in galleries and museums of modern art. Therefore, we should have expected the continuation of the art project - and here it is before us, a women's series called Water Wigs Women … The female version of the photo project clearly demonstrates what the phrase "beauty requires sacrifice" means. In this case, the models' hair was sacrificed, which the author replaced with water splashes and other water figures acting as hairstyles, accessories and jewelry for beautiful ladies. Jewelry that only a bold, risky woman will agree to try on.
As in the previous version of Water Wigs, the artist first modeled the future hairstyle on a computer, and then brought this idea to life, having enlisted the support of a group of assistants and a set of high-quality photographic equipment. The photos were taken at that very elusive moment when a balloon filled with water bursts, and so we get an amazing opportunity to see with our own eyes what always escapes our attention.
You can see the entire series of watery hairstyles and jewelry on Tim Tadder's website.
