Having mastered graphic editors like everyone's favorite Photoshop, and having mastered a few lessons, it is not difficult to turn a photo into an illustration made up of black circles of different sizes. This effect is called halftone and looks very stylish. To the artist by name Tomi, who lives and works in Finland, doesn't need photoshop. Better give him a drill and a sheet of plywood. Tomi is very young and secretive. The young man is 21 years old, he lives in the small town of Tampere in the south of Finland, and the first picture from the holes "painted" on a sheet of plywood as a birthday present for his younger brother. That's all that is known about this man.
However, as can be judged by other works of this young and talented artist, he did not stop at the portrait of the baby. Perhaps the approval and admiration of his relatives inspired him, or maybe it became interesting to develop this unusual type of creativity, but Tom's assets include several more paintings, all made in the same technique. Two layers of plywood, black and white, a drill and hundreds of holes of different sizes - this is how unusual paintings by a young master are born. I bet that over time he will become famous and he will have his own exhibition, however, it is not yet known how soon this will happen …

Why does the artist add popular fantasy characters to the "boring" old pictures?
An artist named Dave gives a second life to old, secondhand landscapes, transforming them into surreal sci-fi scenes. Is this correct? Many of those who have seen Dave's work think it's just great. Godzilla by the old lighthouse and Chewbacca on the misty bank of a forest river? Why not. Both picturesque and modern. Fantasy fans are thrilled. True, it is not known how the authors of the landscapes themselves would have reacted to such a "remake" if they were shown the paintings in an updated form
