Swiss creativity by Fabian Oefner can rightfully be called experimental, since each of his new projects is a real surge of emotions. It seems that drawing familiar pictures with watercolors is out of the question. "Not a brush, but a drill" - this is the main principle of creating a new a cycle of photographs called "Black Hole" ("Black Hole").
We have already told our readers about the various creative projects of Fabian Oefner on the website Kulturologiya.ru. Among the most striking and memorable are the creation of a multi-colored mosaic of watercolors, as well as musical experiments, during which the sounding melodies were “visualized” with the help of a cloud of colored dust.
The Black Hole project is yet another attempt to capture the dynamic changes in watercolors. The essence of the experiment is simple: an artist drips acrylic paints onto a metal rod attached to a drill. When the drill is turned on, the multicolored drops immediately begin their movement, obeying the centripetal force. Fabian Oefner manages to photograph the picturesque spiraling play of color using a camera equipped with a special home-made sensor (it transmits a signal for the flash at the moment when the helmet drops fly off the rod). The artist has literally a fraction of a second to catch a good shot, since everything happens at a tremendous speed. Looking at the photo cycle, it remains only to express the hope that the talented artist will not stop there, delighting the audience with new memorable projects.

An interesting tendency can be traced in contemporary art: authors like to take ordinary, unremarkable things that we encounter every day and "look at them from the other side."
