Music sometimes works wonders! For example, she heals physical and psychological ailments, opens up social opportunities for people, erases boundaries. And, thanks to creativity Fabian Oefner, music henceforth became and painter!
Previously, it was believed that creativity is a process that is accessible only to humans. But in recent years, other animals have also begun to engage in it - dolphins, elephants and even silkworms. But the artist Fabian Oefner taught how to create visual art even sound waves!
In a series of his works called Dancing Colors, Fabian Oefner works with both colors and sound at the same time. He takes sound-amplifying equipment, puts thin sheets of foil on the speakers, and then sprinkles them with dry and powdery colored substances.
And then the matter is small - all that remains is to turn on this or that music at full volume and at a low shutter speed to photograph the explosion of colored dust that occurred after this event.
Moreover, each time, depending on the change of music, the cloud of colored dust differs from the previous results. Still, each piece of music is unique, and therefore each image from the Dancing Colors series is not very similar to others.
Unfortunately, Fabian Oefner does not give an explanation of what kind of music he included when creating this or that image. But it would be very interesting to see how solemn symphonies of Beethoven, light, magical music by Mozart or the work of The Beatles look visually.
