If artists and other creative personalities manage to knit food and make decorations in the form of food, then why not figure out how to use real food in their art? So, we once wrote about paintings from poppy seeds, sculptures from meat, and a German photographer Jasmine Schuller constructs from raw meat … amazing desserts … A series of unusual (and certainly inedible) desserts is called Sweet Meat. Why inedible? So after all, raw meat with whipped cream and strawberry syrup, coconut and chocolate chips, with cocktail cherries and in a waffle cone - sounds, to put it mildly, unappetizing. But it looks amazing!
Jasmine Schuller has revolutionized the sweet tooth world. How can it be that mouth-watering desserts that look like refreshing scoops of ice cream with jam, jelly with chocolate and chocolate popsicle on a stick are not sweet at all, and not at all desserts? Well, very often everything is not at all what it seems, and the world of illusions is much closer than we imagine.
By the way, the idea to create desserts from raw meat, which later took shape in the Sweet Meat series, came to Jasmine Schuller's hunger when she once again listened to the grumbling of a vegetarian neighbor about the turkey being served on Thanksgiving Day. So meat desserts with cream and chocolate became a "hit back". And very well-aimed!
