But American artist Pegie Bradley believes that all of them are conventions that only hinder our life, if we attach great importance to them. And our entire society from early childhood just teaches a person to pay attention to these criteria, put them at the forefront and correspond to them. But this, of course, is not correct!
It’s about trying to go beyond these factors, about the fact that a person (and not his starting positions) himself forms his destiny, his life, you just need to really want to do this, just the sculpture by Pegy Bradley with the name “Expansion.
This sculpture is a plaster girl (a self-portrait of Pegy Bradley herself), which is split into pieces under the influence of the light emanating from her, and soars over the world. Bradley is sure that each of the people has a similar light inside. You just need not be shy and not afraid to give him a way out.
We have seen a somewhat similar message recently in the installation "Chance" by Christian Boltanski, presented at the Venice Biennale 2011.
