A couple of decades ago, only witches and Baba Yaga flew on a broomstick, and today every schoolchild knows that a real ace, "riding" such an unusual means of transportation, is Harry Potter … True, recently the hero of J. K. Rowling's novels has a competitor, and not fictional, but made of flesh and blood. Confirmation of this - a funny series of self-portraits of the 33-year-old Japanese designer Halnoresiding in Hyogo Prefecture. In magical photographs, he sweeps on a broomstick past houses and cars, over beaches and forests.
The author of photo manipulations admits that it was not a cult cinematic character that inspired him to work on a series of bizarre shots, but the levitating self-portraits of his compatriot, Natsumi Hayashi. Photos of the girl in the jump were so successful that Halno could not resist and continued the theme of "flying". The designer presented the pictures on the broomstick to the public on the popular Instagram website, where they immediately became popular.
His friend Wacamera helps Halno work on unusual photographs. Friends spend hours on end with a digital camera and an invariable attribute of all photo shoots - an old-fashioned broom. Today, among the admirers of their work, about 50,000 Internet users, unusual photo manipulations inspire many to create their own "floating" frames. Halno is happy to give advice on how to make the "flights" look realistic: the main rule is to bend your knees and watch your facial expressions. He also reminds you that you can fly not only on a broomstick, you just have to turn on your imagination and forget about everyday boring photos!
By the way, the Potter theme often inspires craftsmen to create real masterpieces. On our website Kulturologiya.ru we have already talked about amazing applications from Brittney Lee, alternative illustrations by Angela Rizza, as well as a series of funny pictures created by cartoonists from different parts of the world.
