Someone photographs cities, someone nature or animals, many photographers just take pictures of people, but Antonios Mitsopoulos captures food. Hunger, of course, is not an aunt, but the desire to create, if I may say so, is not an uncle, so the photographer creates still lifes from beautifully arranged jars of pickles, spoons, forks, vegetables and much, much more.
According to the photographer's website, he grew up in an "idyllic village in the north of Germany", perhaps it was this "deserted corner, Shelter of tranquility, work and inspiration" that became the reason why Antonios photographs food. And it should be noted that he does it very well! At least the pictures are very stylish and harmonious.
Of course, these photos do not pretend to be "high" art, but many housewives would certainly agree to hang these pictures in the kitchen. Or you could decorate cafes and shops with them. These pictures can also be used to advertise healthy eating, well, what else can you think of looking at such "delicious" pictures?
Something similar is being created by Jennifer Young and Imke Klee, who arrange different things beautifully. You can also remember Fabrice Fouillet with his photographic still lifes. The Linda Lundgren project can be added to this impressive list with confidence. And now a food photographer has been added to this galaxy of harmony lovers. Probably, among such a variety, everyone can choose something to their liking.
By the way, Imke Klee helped Antonios Mitsopoulos in this project. The photographer now lives and works in Bremen and Paris. His exhibitions are also held there. In addition to photographs with food, Antonios Mitsopoulos has many other interesting (and no less … exotic) projects, for example, he takes pictures of pigeons and cosmetics. But the artist also has more familiar pictures, for example, very beautiful landscapes.

Topographic food sculptures. Food topographic sculptures art project by Stephanie Herr
The inspiration of the German artist Stephanie Herr lies in the work of the compilers of topographic maps, in their volumetric creations, which can be called almost-sculptures, specific bas-reliefs.
