Every year in Russia there are more and more fans of anime and manga. Moreover, in addition to just comics and cartoons, these realities of Japanese culture extend to other areas of art - from fine arts to more unusual forms. Take, for example, these wonderful paper dolls, some of which are so coolly made that it is not immediately obvious that they are ordinary paper.
There are works of art, one way or another related to manga and anime, in many areas - from digital art to sculpture. Now also lovers origami, both 3D and conventional, can work in this area. These works mainly feature girls. Very cute, pretty, and very high quality made - you can't tell right away that this is paperwork, at least in half of the works. Perhaps these are the heroines of some specific animated series.
To tell you the truth, I didn't understand exactly who the author of these wonderful paper figures was, because Pepakura (this is the name behind the manufacturer) is the name of a Japanese program for creating three-dimensional paper models, which are then printed and used for origami. So, apparently, all that remains is to enjoy the beauty of these fragile pupae, without knowing anything about their author (or authors).

What picture of Holbein frightened Dostoevsky, and why the carpets and the style of embroidery were named after the artist
Not only Prince Myshkin and his literary parent Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky were struck by the picture that this German artist painted almost five hundred years ago. Holbein's contemporaries considered the depiction of Christ to be too naturalistic; but other paintings by the artist were no less frank, except that it was expressed in something else. Holbein's portraits revealed the temper, character, essence of those people who were captured on canvas, these portraits became larger
