Self-taught artist Diane Leonard is by far one of America's most respected Impressionists. She was honored to be a member of the Society of American Impressionists. Exhibitions of Diane Leonard's work are held with great success all over the world, with particular success being her One-Woman Show in Nagana, Japan. Diana studied with masters such as Bettina Steinke and Helen Van Wyk.
The artist's paintings are very popular, they are even in the private collections of the royal family and many heads of state. Working for the Society of American Impressionists takes a lot of Diana's time, but despite this, she teaches literature at one of the universities in California. Diane Leonard specializes in twentieth century drama, modernist and postmodern rhetoric, the literary work of contemporary writers and much, much more.
Diane Leonard also works as a teacher at the Scottsdale Artists School. They say that many go there mainly because they are fans of Diana's work and, of course, want to learn from her.
In addition, Diane Leonard is involved in charitable activities: every year she donates her work to a charity in order to support them and draw public attention to the problems of these societies.
Despite such a busy work schedule, Diane Leonard never stops improving as an artist. The constantly growing demand for works spurs her to this, paintings are sold literally immediately after they were painted. Diana herself says about herself like this: “I am an impressionist artist, writer, video producer and teacher. Drawing is my passion, when I paint my pictures, I dance. For my work, I like to “catch” colors and shades that bring people joy and happiness. It is these bright, but at the same time delicate and harmoniously chosen color schemes that captivate collectors from all over the world and are a key component of the Diane Leonard style.

The work of Neil Patterson, one of America's finest artists
“Painting is a passion,” says Neil Patterson. “A painting can become beautiful only when the artist discovered the passion in himself and gave it a way out. The income generated from art is a bonus, the real pay is that ability to release passion! It is the ability to paint feelings, and not stupid replication, that makes creativity unique, this is especially important for impressionism, because feelings make oil canvases just magical! "
