Burning Man Festival is well known to regular readers of the site Kulturologiya. Ru, since it is difficult to find a more shocking and vivid action. Traditionally, in the first week of September in the Black Rock Desert (Nevada, USA), thousands of vacationers have fun, as they can, demonstrating dozens of all kinds of installations, statues and sculptures. One of the most impressive at Burning Man 2013 was a female figure created by artist Marco Cochrane, whose height is more than 17 meters.
We have already written about the best art installations in the history of the Burning Man festival on our website, but we can safely say that the sculpture called "Truth is Beauty" will take its place of honor among them. The massive sculpture is made of stainless steel mesh and was constantly illuminated to give it even more charm.
The charming photo of the sculpture against the backdrop of the setting sun belongs to the talented photographer Ben Canales, who is known for his love of night photography. The photographer admits that he tried to enjoy the festival without taking out the camera, but the figure of the dancing girl fascinated him so much that he simply could not resist. Ben Canales says that this steel beauty seemed to move in some kind of her own rhythm, demonstrating the amazing grace of frozen movements. Sculpture "Truth is Beauty" is a protest against the intimidation and humiliation of women. They should feel secure in allowing themselves to just enjoy life.
The main tradition of the last day of the festival - the burning of a human figure - was also fulfilled this year. Fire photography belongs to Trey Ratcliffe, a true master of photography.

The work of Neil Patterson, one of America's finest artists
“Painting is a passion,” says Neil Patterson. “A painting can become beautiful only when the artist discovered the passion in himself and gave it a way out. The income generated from art is a bonus, the real pay is that ability to release passion! It is the ability to paint feelings, and not stupid replication, that makes creativity unique, this is especially important for impressionism, because feelings make oil canvases just magical! "
