People who know German have probably already paid attention to the unusual, enviable for any artist, the surname of our author, Sebastian Schonheit … Indeed, translated from German, this word means "beauty", therefore, the profession for the young man was chosen, if not in heaven, then certainly some higher powers. However, looking at the project created by Sebastian " Giant knit", it begins to seem that higher forces helped him not only with the choice of a profession. Is it possible for an ordinary mortal to independently knit an equally gigantic one and a half meter carpet with giant knitting needles? By the standards of knitting, Sebastian Schonheit got a very small patch, hardly the size of a palm. But Translated into "earthly" standards, this "patch" can successfully replace both a bedside rug and a warm blanket-blanket, which a person of average height can easily hide with his head.
Both knitting needles and threads, like knitting itself, seemed to be created for a giant grandmother, and it was all the more curious to watch how a slender, graceful young man-student wielded these devices. Yes, yes, this is not just a giant blanket of 300 huge loops. It was a real show presented to the visitors of the annual art exhibition in Beijing.

Half-humans - half-trees and half-birds: photo collages by Alexandra Bellissimo
Los Angeles-based photographer Alexandra Bellissimo goes beyond black and white photography. Her photo collages tell about strange creatures - half-people, half-trees and remind that we are all connected with nature: just someone has a wind in their head, and someone has a forest. However, it's not just about nature. We can say that the characters of Alexandra Bellissimo think differently. Half-human, half-human strife. Someone's judgments grow from one root, branching out and shit
Knitted time. 365 Knitting Clock by Siren Elise Wilhelmsen
Time to touch. The time that slips through your fingers, and at the end of the year is tightly wrapped around your neck with a warm knitted scarf - these are not at all beautiful poetic metaphors. More precisely, not only them. A watch that clearly demonstrates how time passes, but does not show minutes or seconds, was invented by a Norwegian German industrial designer Siren Elise Wilhelmsen. What are the practical benefits of them, you ask? Well, exactly before the New Year the device

This Albanian maestro, multiple "record holder" for mosaics, Saimir Strati, has already been met by the readers of Culturology.Ru on the pages of the site. It was he who created a painting of 300,000 screws and a portrait of Leonardo da Vinci from nails, and also laid out images from corks and toothpicks. And the new mosaic, on which the author is working today, probably cost him more than one hundred cups of strong aromatic coffee, since he lays it out from a million coffee beans
