The strange buildings of the Japanese Terunobu Fujimori are modern modifications of traditional teahouses. But, in addition, they resemble fabulous huts on chicken legs. The legs, I must say, are quite powerful: tree trunks act in their role. There are not enough places in funny houses and small houses, but this is not the main thing. Anyway, many would like to live in an unusual interior, plunged into a fairy tale.
Japanese Terunobu Fujimori started building strange teahouses quite late. Until the age of 44, the professor of architecture did not even think about this, and then suddenly decided to apply his extensive knowledge in practice (Terunobu Fujimori teaches at the Tokyo Institute). Once the professor was asked to build something like a historical museum of one ancient family. He decided to build something super-original, so that no one seemed a little. And he made the right decision.
Since then, Terunobu Fujimori has been working at the rate of 1 treehouse per year. His friends help him to erect the building itself, whom the architect never pays, believing that hired labor and official subordination do not leave a stone unturned from friendship. Knowing well the history of Japanese architecture, the master manages to build unique structures that cannot be passed by.
Terunobu Fujimori is guided by two principles. First, the new building should not resemble anything already built by people and should not belong to any style of architecture, starting from the Bronze Age. Secondly, only natural materials can be used during construction, and in some places a living tree can be "incrusted" into the building, which symbolizes unity with nature.
Such unusual houses are built in a rather cunning manner. Terunobu Fujimori finds a suitable stump and makes a rough model of what he is going to build out of it. Then he invites clients to his office - a tea house, which is 20 meters above the ground, and demonstrates the project. If the customers do not like something, Terunobu Fujimori begins to rock the wobbly structure, and does this until the uncooperative customers understand that in fact the master is absolutely right. Here they are, modern business technologies.

How a house-ship, buildings on "chicken legs" and other oddities appeared in an old Siberian city in the 1970s
The architecture of the old city of Irkutsk delights with wooden architecture and Siberian Baroque, however, in addition to this, you can find many strange buildings here, as if anticipating the time with their originality. The style of these houses is non-rutalism, or, as it is also called by local lovers of architecture, “Irkutsk Renaissance”. Such buildings were built in the city mainly in the 1970s and 1980s: then non-rutalism was in vogue in our country. True, there is still controversy about whether they are beautiful
The first Soviet yogi or ingenious swindler: Hypnosis of a chicken, action "Down with shame!" and other oddities of Vladimir Goltschmidt
A photo of a decently dressed man staring at a chicken with bulging eyes made netizens all over the world very amused a few years ago. The caption says that the photo is the first Soviet yogi. His name is also known, however, in history this man remained not as a researcher of Eastern spiritual practices, but as a clever swindler who knows how to seize the moment and create an image literally from scratch (however, today half of the modern "stars" can boast of the same)
Ah, those legs! And the legs are on a horseshoe
I wonder how many girls dream that their leg looks like a horse? Yes, yes, this is not a typo - just for the horse. Of course, horses are very graceful animals, not devoid of a beautiful body structure, but why such a comparison?
Hot-Dog Legs: Legs or Sausages, That Is The Question
Internet communities now and then overtake fashion trends, forcing users to exhibit not traditional, but thematic photos. And this is done not for the sake of making a profit, but in order to make people smile and charge them with a good mood for the rest of the day. As soon as the wave of "baguette" passed, when people experimented with an ordinary loaf of bread, it was replaced by the fashion for "Hot-Dog Legs"
