Colds rarely rage in Toronto, this Canadian city is famous for its relatively mild winters. True, this year, icy gusty winds have reached here, so local lovers have a hard time walking on the roofs of skyscrapers. Ronnie Yip, a talented local photographer, is not intimidated by the harsh weather conditions, he recently posted a dizzying series of Toronto winter shotstaken from a bird's eye view.
Regular readers of the site Kulturologiya. RF will probably remember Tom Ryaby, the real "Carlson of our time", who walks around the rooftops of Toronto skyscrapers at night. Ronnie Yip is another daredevil who cannot imagine his life without such extreme entertainment. He admits that climbing 60 flights of stairs is not the most difficult task. It is much more difficult to endure the chilling gusts of wind and temperatures of -20 degrees.
Climbing in the winter season is also difficult because you have to go in full "uniform": in addition to the camera, you have to "carry" a lot of clothes: two sweaters, thick pants, a jacket. However, the view that opens up to the eyes of the exhausted "climber" compensates for all the effort spent. In Toronto, a few days before the shooting, a real winter blizzard raged, so that all the roofs were covered with an impressive layer of ice and snow.
Residents of the building from the upper floors watched Ronnie Yip and his friends with bated breath. The guys spent a couple of hours on the roof, during which time an amateur photographer took some good pictures that you can admire.
