The picturesque nature of China is a mystery that poets, artists, photographers are trying to unravel, but as soon as one of its facets is captured, new inimitable plots immediately appear. A real pearl in the necklace of the Celestial Empire - river lee, which, due to its beauty, was named "the river of poems and paintings."
The mesmerizing Li River flows in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Prefecture, and its source is in the picturesque Maoer Mountains. The beauty of the river is emphasized by the fact that it is surrounded by green hills, and in the distance you can see the vast rice fields.
Small villages are located along the banks of the Li River. The most common activity among the locals is, of course, fishing. It is noteworthy that fishermen do not go to their fishery with rods and nets. They themselves do not fish; cormorant assistants do all the hard work for them. The resourceful Chinese tie the birds by the legs, release them to fish, and as soon as the cormorant grabs the prey, people pull it out and take the "trophy".
A huge amount of reed grows on the coast of the river, from which the Chinese make fancy musical instruments, the sound of which vaguely resembles the singing of birds. The real hallmark of the Li River Valley is the Reed Flute Cave, its depth reaches 240 m. The presented photographs of the natural landscapes of China were taken by Dallas and John Heaton, the works amaze with the harmony of the composition and warm shades of color.
