The unique style of London through the eyes of British and Russian street art artists at the Beefeater Forever London exhibition. From October 29 to November 9, 2010, the Small Exhibition Hall of the ARTPLAY Design Center on the Yauza will be the embodiment of modern London in the unique project Beefeater Forever London.

London can be considered the center of graffiti art, combining the manifestation of the free individuality of the artist, involving everyone in a dialogue and striking the imagination. Beefeater, as one of London's epitomes, inspires contemporary graffiti artists to take graffiti to the next level. Clever graffiti that decorates and complements the cityscape transforms London into a huge art object.

Becoming an integral part of many events related to the culture of London, Beefeater will once again present to the Moscow public a new bright project of talented representatives of British street culture. The show, organized by Beefeater and the ARTPLAY Yauza Design Center, is designed to reveal the spirit and rich cultural heritage of London, where the best British and Russian street art artists will show guests their best work.

The public will be presented with the work of the following British graffiti artists:

Pure Evil (Charley Edwards)Pure Evil is a direct descendant of Sir Thomas More, Lord Chancellor, who wrote the critical book Utopia and was later beheaded by decree of King Henry VIII. Quite naturally, having such an origin (Sir Thomas was later canonized), Pure Evil immersed himself in the study of the afterlife, belief in the Apocalypse and great historical events that could change the world. After living in California for 10 years, inspired by the skate culture and Western tinge of the graffiti art of Barry McGee, known as Twist, he returned to London and began his art painting strange bunnies with vampire fangs.

Jamie brownJamie Brown was born and raised in London. Energetic and ambitious, he is constantly in search of a new way of looking at the world, full of fun, bold decisions and unexpected turns. His experience in creating graffiti works is reflected in the use of various colors and materials to transform architectural objects. The artist's works literally merge with the object, affecting every part of it. He collaborates with many brands, creates illustrations and installations at exhibitions, and more recently, covers new directions in the field of art and interior design.

DBO (Dave Bowcutt)Although DBO has always been a creative person, he found himself on his return from New Zealand in 2005. The artist's works, originally a conformable form of escapism, have made a significant contribution to his experience. The artist's work is characterized by the incredible beauty of the combination of smooth lines. Over the past few years, DBO has exhibited its work at many exhibitions and events around the world, as well as professionally collaborated on various projects with leading brands.

In addition, Russian graffiti artists will participate in the project, creating works that reflect the Russian view of London.

Zmogk (Konstantin Danilov)Zmogk was born in Moscow, painted almost from birth, in the late 90s the constant search for new creative horizons led him to graffiti. The artist's calling card is intricate geometry and, of course, robots. His style consists of a magnificent combination of flawless lines and rich colors. In addition to graffiti, Zmogk is actively involved in graphic design, illustrations, and interior and clothing design.

Wais (Paul) Participant and winner of almost all domestic festivals. He grew up on the streets of St. Petersburg - a city famous for its shades of gray. Already at the age of ten, WAIS took up the transformation of the landscapes of the cultural capital of Russia. Today he is a recognized leader among writers, his distinctive style is easily recognizable by incredible font lines and combinations of unexpected colors and shades. He himself refers to his experiments as "visual effects".

AURS (Victor) Metropolitan writer, participant and founder of the sensational team "NEMA". Today he is recognized as one of the best photorealists among street artists. With his light hand, animals, people and often fonts come to life on the walls of houses. Realism is his strong point, which made the artist and his team famous by victories in such festivals as "Montana jam", "just write my name", "meeting of styles", "snikers urbania".

Some of the works presented at the exhibition will be completed by the artists a few days before the opening, giving guests the opportunity to be the first to see their new creations. The curator of the Russian side will be Alina Saprykina, art director of the Design Center of the ARTPLAY Design Center.

The official opening of the exhibition will take place on November 28. Guests will have the opportunity to catch the finishing touches of the artists' work and enjoy cocktails based on Beefeater gin accompanied by DJs.
