As a rule, museum exhibits are either located behind glass, or are accompanied by signs warning "Do not touch with your hands!" If you are accustomed to this particular state of affairs, then you will undoubtedly be surprised "Move: Choreographing You" - new exhibition at the Hayward Gallery in London. Visitors can not only touch sculptures and installations, but also walk on them and even hang on them - in a word, become direct participants in an art show.
The sculptures and installations displayed at the Hayward Gallery are created by renowned contemporary artists, including William Forsyth, Mike Kelly, Dan Graham, Wayne McGregor, Bruce Nauman and others. The exhibition is organized in such a way that each visitor can interact with the works presented and turn from a passive observer into an active participant. For example, The Fact of Matter by William Forsyth consists of 200 gymnastic rings suspended from the ceiling at different heights. It is simply impossible to cross the room without interacting with them, but what kind of interaction this will be depends on each specific person.
Throughout the exhibition, all installations will also be accompanied by a dance performance, choreographed by Anita Pace. So if the audience is confused by this or that piece, professional dancers will tell you what can be done with it.
The aim of the exhibition is to demonstrate the connection and interaction between art and dance. According to the authors, contemporary dance has a huge (although often invisible from the outside) influence on contemporary art, in particular on the art of performance and sculpture. The exhibition, which opened on October 13, 2010, will be available to viewers until January 9, 2011.

Ice sculpture you can't tear yourself away from: creative advertising for the exhibition
The principle of the iceberg is that the largest and most interesting part of something is hidden under water or gone into subtext. The creative advertising of the exhibition, where it was possible to see mesmerizing sculptures made of ice, is built on the same principle. What we see is just the tip of the iceberg. What it was worth visiting an exhibition of ice sculpture for is left behind the scenes
