Everyone sees off autumn in different ways. Someone rips out a page in the calendar, someone buys a warm hat, and French photographer Christophe Jacrot made a photo shoot in Paris in the rain. Streets washed by a shower are simply stunning. Road markings on the asphalt are brighter, houses are reflected in puddles, and passers-by unanimously hide under the umbrella domes.
I must admit that Christophe Jacrot loves and knows how to shoot city streets. Moreover, every time he chooses not only an unusual angle, but also the right atmosphere. For example, the New York in Black collection illustrates the city after sunset. And "Paris and Snow" was filmed in winter, when the snow cover reliably hid the roads, sidewalks and tree branches.
By the way, the rain inspires not only Christophe Jacrot. Photographer Gavin Hammond has captured a series of photographs of London streets reflecting in puddles. And the artist Elizabeth Patterson even managed to convey the magic of water in the hyper-realistic paintings of the Rainscapes series.

Around mid-November, on the full moon of the last month of the lunar year, Thailand and other Asian countries celebrate one of the most beautiful holidays - Loy Krathong. This incredibly colorful festival lasts for several days and includes festive processions, concerts and numerous events. But the most important thing is the small boats that are launched on the water. Symbolically, together with them, a load of troubles and worries floats away from a person. In some areas, multitudes are still being launched into the sky
An original collection of photographs illustrating animal friendship
Contrary to the opinion that the goose is not a pig's companion, the animals are friends with each other, despite the presence of teeth, wool and hooves. And sometimes this friendship looks so comical that the photos resemble a collage. In fact, all photographs and animals depicted in them are real. As real as the friendship that binds the heroes of the collection
The photographer who takes pictures of the rain. "City Rain" by Bill Sosin
One day, Chicago-based photographer Bill Sosin decided to take some pictures from his car window. At this time, a rainstorm fell, and instead of waiting out it, the author tried to photograph the city through glass covered with drops. It turned out magically and dreamily, and the rainy weather, probably, became the author's favorite
