E-books undoubtedly have their pros and cons. But none of these devices will have the same effect as an amazing book. 360 ° book from Yusuke oono … This is how a Japanese artist, a big fan of experiments, called his art project, which is a three-dimensional fairy tale about Snow White, designed in the form of an unusual book with miniatures. Opening the book and expanding it 360 °, we get something like a "paper show". Figures of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, a witch and a prince, a carriage with horses and a royal castle, forest animals and birds, a hut in a forest thicket and even a poisoned apple - all these illustrations for the fairy tale are not drawn on the pages of the book, but are cut out with a laser. So a fairy tale can not only be read or told, but also shown.
Talking about the book, the artist says that he likes to experiment, in particular, to look for new forms and ways of working with space and dimension. So this palm-sized miniature diorama book was one of the attempts to shape a three-dimensional world from a two-dimensional one. Yusuke Oono is sure that not only children, but also adults will like playing with such a book, because fairy tales have no age, especially when they are designed in this way, and attract readers not only by their content, but also by their form.
Laser-cut Snow White's fairy tale on the pages of a paper book won first prize in the freestyle category of the You Fab 2012 design competition.
