A dollhouse is the best gift for a girl. And it doesn't matter how old she is - 5, 25 or 55. Here is an unusual present for her adult daughter and the designer made Lorraine Robinson … She handed the child guitar, inside which the exact copy of the house this family. Canadian artist Heather Benning is known for transforming a real two-story apartment building into a dollhouse. But Lorraine Robinson did the exact opposite - she created a miniature copy of her own house.
She did this as a gift to her twenty-five-year-old daughter, who decided to leave her home and went to study at the university. As a memory of the place where her parents live, where she is always expected, where she is loved, she received this unusual present from her mother.
The Dollhouse, designed by Lorraine Robinson, is twelve times smaller than the original Robinson family home. All the rooms of this building fit in it, and there is exactly the same furniture that stands in reality. Only small, small.
The fact is that Lorraine Robinson makes a living making designer furniture. Therefore, it was not difficult for her to create a smaller copy of the accessories from her own home.
Lorraine “packed” her present in a box of rather unusual shape. She put a copy of her house in an ordinary acoustic guitar, with the help of which she sang songs to her little daughter many years ago.
If you look closely at the insides of this unusual toy house, you can see many small details, for example, a miniature family portrait on the wall, a turntable with your daughter's favorite records, and even the guitar itself, inside which all this is placed.
