This is really so: live Pikachu in a matter of days managed to win a sea of fans around the world. True, this ordinary domestic cat from Thailand turned into a Pokemon by pure chance …

Recently, Facebook user and cat lover Tammapa Supamas discovered on the paw of her pet, the white cat Ka-Pwong, a common fungal infection - ringworm. Traditional treatment prescribed by a veterinarian did not help. The girl was worried and asked her mother for advice. An elderly woman recommended that she resort to the old grandfather's way of painting the infected area with turmeric. She explained that this Indian spice and medicinal herb has been used since ancient times to treat all kinds of infections.

The girl's mother decided to carry out the procedure herself. First, she anointed only the affected area with a yellow solution. There was still a lot of liquid left, so the elderly woman decided to improvise and treat all the rest of the wool with turmeric - just in case, to prevent the appearance of lichen in other places. And what good is it to be wasted!

So the snow-white cat Ka-Pwong turned into a bright yellow - like a chicken. However, its owner Tammapa Supamas, being a person with a rich imagination, noticed a more original similarity: the cat looked like Pokémon Pikachu!

It turned out that the yellow natural dye, remarkably absorbed into the white fur, does not wash off, so the cat will have to walk in such an original color for a long time. By the way, according to the owner, the pet itself, it seems, did not even notice that it had turned into Pikachu. He, as before, is vigorous, active, with pleasure runs after the laser light and eats food with appetite.

It is interesting that, according to the owner, the turmeric really helped: "Ka-Pwong's itching decreased and he stopped licking the damaged area." However, she does not recommend that anyone repeat this experiment: it is still better to seek the advice of a doctor, and not to use dubious methods.

Supamas hopes that the cat's yellowness will disappear in three months, and that the notorious lichen will disappear with it without a trace.

Meanwhile, the photos of the cat Pikachu have already gone viral, gaining many thousands of shares, likes and comments from people from all over the world. Many found the incident amusing and agreed that Ka-Pwong was indeed a trip to Pikachu. And for greater effect, Supamas even photographed several photos of her yellow pet, adding red spots and stripes to it, like an animated hero.

The Internet community reacted very kindly to what happened to the cat: on news sites, people from all over the world write words of support for the cat and its owner.

“It's really great that the owners decided to cure the animal with a harmless natural product,” wrote one of the readers. “Don't pay attention to the color - it will disappear. My pale white American Staffordshire had canine atopic dermatitis, and when it itched, I bathed him in a solution of crushed cider leaves. The white areas on the dog turned a little green, but it was really effective and soothed the itching. Thus, I saved the dog from many corticosteroid procedures, which are far from harmless. If it works without side effects, why not?"

“If the only side effect was that the cat turned yellow and the turmeric really cured her ringworm, I don't think it's really that bad. Hopefully the pet will eventually get back its white coat, but until then it looks adorable! - says another commentator.
