Who needs pay phones on the streets of the city, if today even a schoolchild and a pensioner have their own mobile phone, or even more than one? No, no, no one offers to dismantle them and send them to a landfill, but it would be very useful to carry out a certain rebranding of these essential components of the city landscape. This task was set by the members of the Japanese art group. Kingyobu, and embodied it in the form of an original street art project, aka an installation, aka a performance called Goldfish phone boot aquariums … Yes, yes, Japanese leaders simply turned payphones into huge aquariums with goldfish … The name of the art group Kingyobu translates as "Goldfish club", which immediately explains where the legs of this unexpected venture grow from. For example, five activists, residents of the Kansai region, rebuilt several telephone booths in Osaka, filled them with water to the ceiling, and launched a flock of goldfish into the newly formed aquarium. And all this - in front of amazed passers-by who could not pass by such a sight.
This is how you walk along the streets of Osaka on a warm evening, and the glass tower of a telephone booth glows at the corner … And everything would be fine if it were not for the orange-gold fish swimming melancholy inside, not paying any attention to the payphone attached to one of the glass walls.
By the way, from the outside it may seem that Goldfish phone boot aquariums is an illusion installation. Allegedly, the fish swim inside the transparent walls of the telephone booth filled with water, and the payphone works as usual. But it only seems so. This art project is part of the upcoming Canvas Project art festival.

How to Disassemble a Watch, Phone, and Lawnmower: The Unmounting Photo Project by Todd McLellan
In childhood, all of us were interested in learning how the surrounding objects are arranged. However, the elders for some reason did not encourage experiments in disassembling "adult" things. I had to be content with small things: cars or dolls. For many people, children's curiosity has not disappeared over the years, and no one can forbid uncles and aunts. Todd McLellan's photo project "Disassembly" is a boy's dream come true, how to disassemble a clock and see what's ticking
