Video: Lego in Real Life: Video by Temujin Doran

When Temujin Doran needed to shoot a Lego commercial, he decided not to come up with complex concepts, hire actors, or create expensive sets. “Everything ingenious is simple,” the British director once again proved to us, simply combining the details of the constructor with scenes of real life and resulting in a creative and memorable video.
Temujin Doran's idea is impossibly simple. The author took various Lego figures and parts and substituted them instead of real objects, filming everything that happened on a video camera. One can only guess how much time and imagination it took the director not only to select the necessary elements of the constructor, but also to manage to substitute them in the right place at the right time. The video, by the way, is called "Build anything", that is, "Build anything."
Temujin Doran himself says that he found all the figures and cubes that can be seen in the video in a box with toys preserved from his childhood. "They might seem a little dated compared to modern Lego, but they're cool anyway," says the author. Incidentally, this commercial took third place at the 2010 Cannes Lions Video Contest.
