Who hasn't seen portraits of Albert Einstein, Andy Warhol or Woody Allen? The one thousand-first way to depict celebrities of the twentieth century is offered by the Spanish artist Mario Soria. In his opinion, the key to success lies in a combination of styles: pop art, hyperrealism and surrealism. Black and white realistic portraits lack color? Receive humanitarian aid in the brightest colors. In pop-art drawings, the characters grow ears like Mickey Mouse, and the cuts of the paintings are made out with Lego sets, soda cans or pencils.
Spanish artist Mario Soria is seriously preparing for portraits of celebrities. He says that he would not mind studying the biography of the person being portrayed, and using the information found in his work.
So, in the portrait of Albert Einstein, women are sitting in a multi-colored target, which hints at the great scientist's love. Woody Allen is surrounded by cinematic attributes, and the empty strollers in the portrait of Frida Kahlo hint that the artist could not have children.
The author of portraits in the style of pop art (and not only) encourages to look at the details of the drawings: as in the contract, all the most important is printed in small print, so in the picture the most interesting can be immediately overlooked.
