We have already seen the works that this artist creates, and it is difficult to forget them - not everyone can boast of skulls carved from fruit. But Dmitry Tsykalov, already known to us, did not stop there: he carves not something out of wood, but human organs, arranging it for an installation, and releases photographs of girls hung with weapons made of meat.
Of course, skulls are not that original. There is this guy Noah Skalina who makes them out of anything. He also has vegetables, but he does not cut them, like our Dmitry Tsikalov, but simply puts them on the table. In other words, the theme of skulls has not exhausted itself, there is something for other artists to strive for. But organs made of wood and meat installations are perhaps something more original.
Dmitry Tsikalov, as you know, is our compatriot. Best known for him is woodwork. What he didn’t cut out: beds, guns, cars. Over time, he got tired of this triviality, and he began to cut out organs (how terrible it sounds): lungs, heart, brains, having designed all this in the form of an installation.
When Tsikalov got tired of the tree, he thought - what would he choose for creativity? And I decided to take up raw meat. A series of photographs of people hung with meat is one of his most scandalous and high-profile projects, in which many saw a protest against the war. Against this background, such simple works as perfectly made skulls from fruits and vegetables seem to be just a spiritual rest of the master from his main activity, full of challenge and provocation.

Giant human organs made of glass from designer Sigga Heimis
Human organs have always inspired artists and designers to create original and rather unusual masterpieces. Some of them were used simply as beautiful exhibits of the exhibition, with the help of the rest it was possible to study anatomy, examining one or another part of the body with one's own eyes. I must admit that human organs made of glass look much better than a real skeleton, which some biology laboratories are so proud of. At least that's what the designer Sigga Heimis, who creates the giant, thinks
