When a design firm calls itself "Nothing," you can expect relevant designs from it. But sometimes the people working in it come up with amazing ideas! And they manage to make something out of nothing. And something very interesting!
What is so unusual about the photographs that we see? And the thing is that this office (and this is exactly what it is) is made of cardboard by designers! That is, it is completely fake. A similar idea came to Alrik Koundenburg's head, and Joost van Bleiswijk was embodied. Interestingly, they took the idea just from the name of their Dutch company, and the work began. The office came out almost like a real one and you won't immediately notice that something is wrong - there are walls, and tables, and chairs, and shelves, and even stair steps, also made of cardboard.
And the technique, of course, even with its name makes you smile - "no glue, no screws" - the whole office was built exclusively and only from cardboard. As the designers themselves say, they took the most "none" of all materials suitable for construction - and created their own project!
You can repeat as long as you like that the idea makes no sense, because all the same, in such an office you can neither work nor use it in any way. But the implementation of such a large-scale idea deserves attention.
The idea belongs to the company "Nothing" (Amsterdam)
