Friday is a free day with jeans and sneakers, T-shirts and bright blouses, neckline and black tights, and the rest of the four days, please, long for classic tailored suits and equally classic shoes. Approximately the same fate awaits almost everyone who is fortunate enough to work in modern offices with modern bosses, where they observe office style and stiffness, called strict discipline and dress code … It resembles junior classes with a mandatory uniform, which, however, every graduate considers it her duty to wear on the last bell. In Japan, however, school uniforms are a famous fetish and are sold in specialty stores, and for American office workers, designers have their own ideas on how to diversify everyday outfits. American artist Ted Sabarese we know from the unusual design of edible outfits, about which we wrote a lot earlier. This time, Ted also decided not to deviate from the theme of an unusual wardrobe, and created a whole collection of clothes for office personnel, which he named, accordingly, Office Wear.
Everything, from skirts to blouses, from trousers to ties, is made of those stationery and other materials that managers and secretaries, couriers and accountants, cashiers and other representatives of "office plankton" have to work with every day. Including directors and other bosses - they also work in the office. I think this dress code is the best fit under the name of a corporate one:)
And if suddenly another corporate party is coming at your enterprise, it will be great as entertainment to come up with a similar fun: to make clothes for yourself using improvised means. Paper clips and staplers, binders and rubber bands for money, sticky notes and packing tape, in general, what departments are rich in. And send the resulting costumes straight to Ted Sabarese's address. He'll be surprised!
