There is nothing more terrifying than watching the quiet, absolutely deserted streets of large, densely populated metropolitan areas. Cities in which life is in full swing, regardless of the time of year and day, never fall silent, filled with the hum of cars, conversations of people, music from hypermarkets and children's laughter. But to the photographers from the duo Lucie & Simon managed to capture noisy squares, streets and alleys of megalopolises quiet, deserted and lonely. The photo project is called, Silent World or the World immersed in silence Either this is a good time and a good place, or the result of manipulating photographs, but before us a completely different world opens up, similar to the real one, only lifeless and sad. For some, these stories will seem post-war, for others they will cause associations with diseases or man-made disasters, and someone will probably say that this is how our world would look if biological weapons existed. One way or another, photographs evoke very complex and indefinite emotions, which take time to sort out …
With this photo project, Lucy and Simon literally break the mold, break stereotypes and show that in fact the "city that never sleeps" can be quiet and timid, and Wall Street and Times Square also have time to rest and sleep. In addition to photographs taken in major cities in France, the USA, China, Great Britain and other countries of the world, the authors of the Silent World project shot a small video that can be seen on the website of this amazing project.

The Levitation Project. Levitation in a photo project by David Nemcsik
The career of a young Hungarian photographer David Nemczyk dates back to the entrance exams: a beginner photographer had to create a photo project for admission to the university. Of course, Nemchik could not create such photographs on his own, and then friends came to his aid, who are in the pictures and soar in the air, and in the most unexpected and picturesque places.
