Our whole life is a movement. Someone prefers to cover distances by car, someone on a bicycle, someone on rollerblades. But the most interesting way to get around is parkour. Moreover, supporters of this type of discipline assure that parkour is not a sport, but a whole art, a philosophy of life.
From the outside, it may seem that parkourists are children who jump over railings, run on roofs, run into trees and bushes. In fact, overcoming obstacles is another way to prove to yourself that all problems can be solved, and that the ability to cope with difficulties is the main difference between a person and an animal.
The first to announce parkour were David Belle and Sebastian Fukan. It is they who are considered to be the founders of street culture, and it is them that the boys who jump over obstacles for the first time are used to equal. Many of them make the motto of parkour: “there are no boundaries, there are only obstacles” as the motto of their life. This approach helps yesterday's tomboys to solve adult problems, to perceive difficulties as another way to prove to oneself that everything is surmountable and firmly towards the intended goal.
Parkourists and photographers are very fond of. They can watch the movement of athletes for hours, trying to capture the most daring movements on film. Ben Franke was the most successful at this. His series of works, Parkour Motion, glorified not only the author himself, but the entire parkour culture in general.
